Position Overview We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced Med-Surg/Telemetry environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered
- Provide comprehensive care for post-operative, acute medical, and telemetry patients
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and facility policies

- Location: Nashville, TN (or surrounding Middle Tennessee facilities)
- Job Type: Contract / Temporary (13 weeks, with potential extension)
- Shift: 3×12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) or days (flexible options available)
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1–2 years recent acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry experience
- Certifications: Active Tennessee RN license (or compact license), BLS, ACLS (preferred), NIHSS (preferred)
- Pay Rate: Competitive weekly package – $2,600 – $3,200+ (depending on experience and shift) – includes stipends where applicable
- Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Tennessee (or Nurse Licensure Compact state)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring and acute care
