Position Overview
Protegra Healthcare Staffing is recruiting compassionate and motivated Physical Therapists for full-time and part-time opportunities in Jackson, Mississippi, and the surrounding communities.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy designed to improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and enhance each patient’s overall quality of life. We are seeking professionals who combine strong clinical judgment with excellent communication and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on each patient’s diagnosis, needs, and goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and other appropriate interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, mobility, and continued care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow all clinical, regulatory, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
- Promote a positive and encouraging environment throughout the patient’s rehabilitation.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current Mississippi Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply.
